A Continuing Legacy The Farelady follows the TX4 Last of Line, the five final cabs commissioned by the London Taxi Company from Afzal Kahn to mark the end of an era. The Farelady carries that thinking into the next generation of the London taxi: electrified, near silent and refined throughout. The Exterior A vented front grille and reshaped front valance redraw the face of the car, with a sculpted roof spoiler completing the profile. Bespoke monoblock forged and machined lightweight alloys sit in a staggered fitment, 18 inches at the front and 19 inches at the rear, for a more planted, grand touring stance. At the touch of a button, an illuminated VIP roof light takes the place of the For Hire sign. Finished in Sherwood Green, a deep and traditional British green suited to the taxi’s classic, rounded form. The Cabin The rear compartment has been entirely re-tailored. Quilted seats in soft, perforated and breathable cream Nappa leather. Deep pile carpet underfoot. A starlight headliner overhead. Wood detailing for warmth. Wireless phone charging, switchable LED ambient lighting and additional USB charging, integrated without disturbing the calm of the space. The Drive The LEVC range-extended electric drivetrain glides through the city in near silence, with a compact 1.5-litre petrol generator extending range for longer journeys.
